To maintain it, the Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP) keeps information about donors and patients private and confidential. We protect donors and patients from unwelcome attention or contact and ensure donation is safe for donors and patients.

 

Please sign up as a donor and help spread the word. As a donor we welcome you to share your commitment to a friend, loved one or colleague. Joining the BMDP register is to provide the chance of becoming a hero by saving someone’s lives. However, once you have made that life-saving decision, donor confidentiality remains our priority.

Our medical advisory committee helps ensure we use safe and effective processes and procedures at the Bone Marrow Donor Programme. We protect donors and patients from unwelcome attention or contact and ensure donation is safe for donors and patients.
