Think of Bayer, most of us will think of Aspirin – and indeed, last week we learned that the first man to walk on the moon even had some aspirin on hand just in case a tension headache got the better of him. It was this fact, and many more examples of Bayer innovation and science in action that demonstrated why the company is just as relevant today as it was 150 years ago when it was first established.
This was exactly the theme of the Bayer (South East Asia) celebration last week when staff from the region all gathered together to share lunch, celebrate some of the tremendous milestones the company has achieved over fifteen decades and for the BMDP, it was another chance to meet up with supporters and friends and grow our collaboration.
Bayer staff supported our work through the purchase of BMDP’s signature “Friendship” Teddy Bears and staff who were away last year for the donor drive were able to spend a few minutes and sign up as donors. But more than that, it was a chance to again share our mission and show how the BMDP and Bayer both have a positive impact on the lives of so many individuals through our work and influence.
Thanks to the Bayer (SEA) team and congratulations for being a great team and 150 years strong!
