Events Ambassador

Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Ambassador plays a critical role in helping realise the BMDP’s vision of providing that one chance of survival to hundreds of patients suffering from terminal blood-related diseases. He/she will facilitate the events and outreach programs actively and manage back-end administrative work when necessary.

More specifically, the duties and responsibilities of the Events Ambassador include the following:
a) Assist in campaign planning and events management for BMDP events and roadshows held at libraries, community centres, schools, colleges, universities, corporates to create awareness of our Programme and recruit people as potential donors.
b) Setting up of booths and managing the logistics at roadshows and drives.
c) Pitch to create awareness of BMDP’s cause and encourage more donor sign up
d) Able to perform database marketing by making phone calls to existing donors as well as new potential clients
e) Other duties as instructed by the Manager

Requirements
a) Diploma with 1 year of sales experience
b) Highly energetic to meet targets
c) Good interpersonal and communication skills.
d) Excellent skills in selling the brand
e) Able to multi-task with good organisational and coordination skills
f) High level of discretion in handling confidential documents/information

Direct/Database & Relationship Marketing Executive

The direct/database and relationship marketing executive will be responsible for deepening the relationship we have today with 80,000 volunteer bone marrow donors and establish a regular source of charity funding. The role will leverage the development and execution of direct marketing campaigns to connect and engage with existing and new donors. The incumbent should be responsible to identify, establish and enhance relationships to grow general awareness, build conversations and encourage more people to sign up as donors and to extend the BMDP mission into their own communities. The candidate should be high-energy and creative.

More specifically, the duties and responsibilities of the Direct/Database & Relationship Marketing Executive include the following:
a) Conceptualise and develop, direct marketing programmes that leverage BMDP’s database of donors.
b) Manage and execute the programmes and measure the success in extending the reach of the current database
c) Conceptualise campaigns for online advertising and social outreach.
d) Maximise the use of the database as an effective marketing channel through the management and execution of campaigns and other projects.
e) Work with cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns aligned with social media, content marketing and online marketing to maximise cost effective channels.
f) Conceptualise fundraising initiatives and leverage BMDP’s database of financial donors.
g) Work with BMDP’s external agencies to maintain consistency in all deliverables.
h) Day to day relationship management of existing and new donors and other stakeholders.

Requirements
a) Diploma or higher with preferably 3 – 5 years’ experience
b) Strong knowledge in direct marketing, data analytics, content development and deployment of campaigns
c) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
d) Familiar with Salesforce and various design/layout applications
e) Innovative, able to conceptualise campaigns and bring to successful delivery
f) Good initiative, meticulous and self-motivated
g) Team player willing to learn and take on duties as assigned
h) Able to multi-task with good organisational and coordination skills

Donor Counselling Manager

Within the Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP), the Donor Centre department manages matched unrelated donors during the bone marrow donation process. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Donor Counselling Manager is responsible to fulfil the functions at all stages of the donation process. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all professional services to meet the accreditation standards of the World Marrow Donor Association (WMDA) and adhere to the BMDP policies and procedures.

More specifically, the duties and responsibilities of the Donor Counselling Manager include the following:
a) Lead and provide strategic support and professional guidance to the Donor Centre Executives.
b) Ensure the bone marrow donation processes are maintained to a high professional level.
c) Maintain a strong rapport with past donors and work on behalf of the BMDP to identify and encourage donors to assume an advocacy role for bone marrow donation
d) Build and maintain strong working relationships through best practice and regular communications with the local collection centres and international registries.
e) Provide regular reports to the Executive Committee and CEO of the BMDP and contribute as required to any international and national regulatory bodies with information and statistics
f) Assist the Quality Manager in ensuring that all collection centre partners meet the appropriate standards of accreditation to conform to WMDA guidelines and policies.
g) Provide professional guidance to the other teams by way of knowledge sharing, setting and updating policies and generally ensuring that the BMDP is aligned to best standards and protocols.
h) Ensure that all donor and partner data remains confidential and only appropriate BMDP staff have access to this information.

Requirements
Essential:
• Familiar with the procedures and policies within the hospital eco-system
• Demonstrate high levels of professionalism, leadership and management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to deliver reports and statistical data
• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, partners and management, both verbally and in writing.
• Good organisation, project management and excellent interpersonal communication and decision-making. Able to commit to flexibility in working hours as donors may only be available after work and at weekends.
• Able to build and maintain a strong relationship with donors with a view to engaging them in the BMDP’s cause
• Must be a self-starter with initiative and a strong motivation to meet targets and deliver success

Desirable:
Experience of working in a hospital or clinic setting work

Qualifications and Training Required:
Certificate in Social Work, Diploma / Degree in Nursing, Counselling or equivalent

Social Media & Online Marketing Executive

Reporting to Head of Donor Recruitment, the social media and online marketing executive will be responsible for deepening the relationship we have today with 80,000 volunteer bone marrow donors as well as building awareness and visibility across our target youth sector. The role will leverage the communications value in our events and life-saving stories to grow general awareness, build conversations and encourage more people to sign up as donors as well as grow the number of financial supporters. The candidate should be high energy and creative.

More specifically, the duties and responsibilities of the social media and online marketing include the following:
a) Manage daily social media activities and build profiles to drive engaging conversations
b) Work with other members of the team to develop suitable content for social engagement
c) Define and promote an online advocacy voice for volunteerism and bone marrow donation
d) Respond to users’ comments and build engage in conversations on other platforms
e) Support the events and marketing team to identify the best social media platforms for paid outreach
f) Measure the effectiveness of campaigns to further fine-tune and extend impact

Requirements
